One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

if you're referring to the soul, they should go on the outside. the biggest difference i found is with the shorter ones, you can do a rising turtle, but for general flying the longer ones were my preference.

hopefully someone who owns/owned one could offer more information.

The extra standoffs are all the same size.  Same with the stock standoffs.  Well, stock ones are longer, but all four standoffs are the same length.  I know I did not explain that very well, sorry.  At least on mine they are, but I bought mine used.  If you want the lengths, just let me know and I'll measure them.

I've also recently bought a second hand Soul - mine is a standard with a mid vent conversion. The leaflet that comes with the kite is available as a PDF from a link from one of the kite shops but I can't remember where Cry  I've just had a look but can't find it. There isn't that much info on the leaflet but it does have the lengths of the spars.  Mid West kites have some good information on frame specs, weight etc.

I've only had a chance to try mine briefly a couple of times but it's a very nice kite, I'm sure you'll like it.
