Hello all,
I have a couple first gen Rev 1's in neon pink/turquoise. They have the T300 frame and are in great condition. I'm looking to clear out some kites but have no idea what these are worth now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I think they went for $200 new with handles depending where there were bought. Todays price is subjective to demand, condition, color. Pink turns alot of folks off, and back then Rev used a lot of pink. I would guess 75% had pink. Doesn't bother me any, infact I'm thinking about a pink and aqua Twister for old times sake.

Can you post some pictures or send some?

I think they went for $200 new
In 1996 the plain colourways went for $192 and the "rainbows" for $224 from BFK.

All of which might be historically interesting but simply no pointer whatsoever to what they are worth today.

I think the topic was original Rev I, not 1996.

I agree with you Mike, no one can put a value on these kites. This has been covered numerous times from all but one more angle.

I should have put more emphasis and expanded a little:-

  • In 1996 the plain colourways went for $192 and the "rainbows" for $224 from BFK. When originally sold as the Revolution 1 (and not Neos Omega) in 1989 it had an MSRP of $230.

Still got nowt to do with its present value though.  Embarrassed

I still agree with Mike on present value.
The rest I'll leave to the experts.
