Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Thanks for reposting. That is truly one of the best kite videos ever.  Huh
Really ?  Lips sealed
In terms of someone enjoying flying a kite and not being overly concerned how they are doing so or ticking off a list of the latest "hot" moves.... yes.

It's not all Yoyo Cométes you know.  Wink

Skill, skill and more skill. Only attained by lots of practice, to have the correct amounts of input in each trick. Winds must be smooth and gentle , and a good kite that is  capable of executing the various tricks.

Have a few beers and smooth doesn't matter.  Cool  Anyway, most people think it needs a tail  or more wind.  Roll Eyes

If you have ever seen like Mathias (Haack) or Heiko (Eickenberg) are handle a kite, you will know why it looks smooth.
Maybe they are able to fly a Taz or yofade with a cutting board, if you knot two lines on it - and so think about what is possible when those guys are flying a kite that is built exactly for thiers style...

But therewith its looks "so" smoth you need a kite that is able to fly such a smoth style - TNT is one of those kites (this atribute doesn`t say if its a "good"kite or a "bad"kite).

Unfortunately i couldn`t fly my TNTs so smooth (but smoother than every other kite i had in my bag or flown).
