One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

I've got a nirvana kite and need someone to tie a R-T-G bridle on it. I've tried twice and it has come out wrong both time(wasted alot of bridle line ). Please pm/email me if you can assit me.

Unless its chopped to pieces, bridle line can be reused. I would suggest that you "push on through" & keep trying. Down the road you'll be glad you did. My first was one of those cross active Gem bridles & the RTG is much, much easier comparatively so long as you learn how to tie the knots.

Best investment I ever made for bridle tying:

A board with a couple of nails in it.  You can mess with one piece of the bridle until its right, then make another just like it.



Definitely try again. Even if you never make a whole bridle ever again (most people don't) you will be comfortable repairing or modifying a bridle (much more common).

Be sure to keep the original bridle on the kite until you've got the new one tweaked. It's easy to switch back and forth and see what the new one does different. Having the extra bridle flapping around as you fly is OK for testing.
