One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

 Cheesy

I had a break between sessions and just checked the temp, too. I think I'll wait a while.

Great time the other night, John! Thanks.

BTW, for grins I checked the temp at home, too. Only 80 and mostly cloudy there, although the spread was >40 degrees yesterday.

I can't wait for October either. No snow but 5 months of perfect flying weather. Summer sucks !

We've got mother nature helping us perform tricks down here in Los Angeles by shaking the ground for us!
Had two or three earthquakes centered off the coast of Santa Monica of all places!!!

Santa Monica?  That IS weird!

Nice & warm here; low 90's, breezy, and some scattered thundershowers forecast over the weekend.  Think I'll have a beach-day today.  Bad news; the oil is getting close.

109 is warm but your humidity is low.

I was out flying one time when it was 115F and about 55% humidity, that session only lasted about an hour before I was gassed.  That same year we also hit -40F (I didn't fly outside that day  Wink )

Weather report for tomorrow
...Thunderstorms likely. Some thunderstorms may be severe with heavy rainfall. Very windy. Highs in the mid 70s. Southeast winds 20 to 30 mph increasing to south 30 to 40 mph with gusts to around 55 mph in the afternoon.   Huh

I'll probably even leave the vented kites at home tomorrow.

It's currently 69 degrees and cloudy with 52% humidity and 6mph winds here in West Hollywood.
Probably a nice day to hit the beach...

Schook:

Not to say you might be exaggerating.....

but the psychrometric charts don't go that high.

At 115F, the chart ends at 45% RH and that is an incredible amount of water.

http://www.uigi.com/UIGI_IP.PDF

My personal experience with high temp/RH is 110F and 15%RH. It was a miserable day.
