Tails?

Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet. A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites. Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal. 1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Tails?

Can anyone suggest the best tails for rev's, and where the best place to get them?

I have a 30 foot black tail about 2" in width. Typically tied in a U-shape:

Black goes with everything.
Not my kite, just on loan for pictures.

Google "45 foot gkpi skywriter tails"

I use them on both my dual line and Revs. IMHO they are fantastic tails. Look very smooth and follows the trajectory of the kites pretty well.

For Revs I just tie them on both wingtips at the bottom, ala John's pictures.

Get some matching colours with your kites and they look really awesome with the right combination Cool

Gomberg 45' Skywriter or 100' Skywriter Rainbow tails on the wing tips makes for really neat double helix when spinning:) Transition tails look good too but are kinda heavy.

We provided 45 foot Transition Tails to IQuad for their performances.
