One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I was watching Ray Bethell and saw that he had wooden handles so he can fly a kite with one hand.

Where can I get one (or two) of those things?  I think it would be neat to be able to fly one handed.

Any ideas?

Exactly right. Ray is a master carver and he made his handles to fit his hands. When I was learning, he told me that the magic "AIN'T IN THE HANDLES, IT'S IN YOUR HEAD." I took his advice and found that he wasn't blowing smoke.
All you need is a handle that fits your hand comfortably and a means to attach  your lines to the handle. After that it's practice, practice and more practice because you have to overcome the pattern you have already established in your mind by flying with two hands.

yep make them, wood is practical if you have the tools, I've made them out of PVC Electrical Conduit available at most any hardware store, they also sell pre-bent elbows you could use. I bent my own over the stove. Cost was under $5 as I recall. Still needs some bicycle foam tape for padding.

Very much like quad handles and you might get away with using them but the small diameter of Rev handles might get tiring over long periods, there are PVC handles available for traction kites with larger diameters though.

The flatter wood type Ray uses allow a wider range of motion, say to the side a bit without the handle twisting out of his grip as easily as round would.
