One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I recall them, during 1989, 90 maybe 91 or all those years at least one of the teams was at the Washington State Intl Kite Festival. As I recall Ron Romero & his daughter were featured in one of the programs. I think they even had a booth there until the local merchants excluded all out of town kite merchants except of course Deb Cooley. Rome Aero Enterprises sponsored two teams that definitely left their mark on the results charts during those years. The store was in San Ramon, Ca but I never got to visit it.

I bet Troy Gunn has memories.

they also had a store in San Jose as well . along with a few field reps that you could buy from . I was just a kid at 11 but they helped me out very much and always welcomed me to fly with them . did most of my flying at shoreline park in Mt View CA. if I remember rite Rons daughter name was Missy . just a trip down memory lane .

Missy sounds right to me, been a lot of years. When did they shut down?
