Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Asking about type of line or weight of line?

Type, just go with Dacron/Polyester you don't need or want Spectra cored line in that application, Some shock absorption on a big kite is not a bad thing. Pre-Stretch it so you don't spend hours adjusting it only to have to do it again each time you fly it.

Weight, since a Jordan 200 can be flown on 500 lb line (I would prefer heavier for easier handling and the kite won't notice it except at its lowest wind range) you should be fine with the 250 lb. If you want to add a bit more safety measure I'm pretty sure Steve can get you 300 lb in some shorter lengths if you contact him.

We will need pictures  Smiley
