One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

From http://www.skyburner.com/ocius.html

The kite flies extremely well in a rolled up position, and will do every trick in the book with ease. Nelsons, Taz Machienes, Yo fades, Whap do Whaps, 540's- they're all there.

Huh Is there such a trick? Anybody care to enlighten me?

Thanks
-Darryl

Full or half? Sorry Darryl, it does sound familiar. Have you tried the usual tricks sites...Randy G, Roy Reed, Tricks Party, our old friend?

Yes, the nelson is a trick.
The Nelson is when you roll a kite up, then put it in a turtle, lazy, and unroll.

it is also known as that. I've learned the trick as a "nelson", so i used that term. Sorry for the confusion.
I helped write the review on the skyburner site. I can get it changed if you wish.

It's called a Lewis over here, too. I've never heard it called a "Nelson" but I'm not an old timer either, at least when it comes to "kite years".  Huh

Nelson:- Horatio, Lord.  Architect of the British win at the Battle of Trafalagar.  Doubt he would have been much of a trick flyer with just one eye, though.

Lewis,  Morse's sidekick in Inspector Morse.

You did ask Smiley
(even if the answer is a bit parochial!)

The video looked like a Lewis to me.
I've never heard of a Nelson either.
