One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

This is an old thread but I think it's still relevant. There's still Addictions floating around and the Pro is still in shops. My Grand kids have one as do I. Read this post a bunch of times since Oct. 2 nights ago shopping for P90s read it again. In the morning I just ordered the P90s. Due to wind my Zephyr and Addiction are my most flown kites. Prefer my Widow ng but the wind is what it is.Low winds again today and they are what will be flying again. Yesterday winds were 1 to 5 mph with some 0 and 6. Went up on 82' x 80# lines. !st time on the Zephyr with that set. Oddly the kite felt heavier and more clumsy. Prefer the 100' x 90# on that kite. Moved the Addictions upper bridle LE connection to the top. Kite became slower and a little more deliberate in it's flight. It went into slides easier with less yaw and wobble. Belly up and belly down moves were less flippy. Seemed to rotate about the same. Took awhile to get used to hunting the window in 2 to 3. At 4 plus much the same just calmer. About  1 hour into it I noticed my hands were in much the same positions as on my other kites. In stock trim Iv'e learned to keep my hands together and use short smooth inputs as much as I can to keep control. When I make one of my many mistakes it's easier to yank and spank my way out of trouble stock.Going to fly a little more in this set up before going back to stock. Although still a lot of fun some of the excitement went away. Talked to Jon T about the kite and I think the kite is meant to be a little radical. When I need calmer flying I'll fly another kite. Nothing I have flies like the Addiction. Then I got a Hydra. Wow!! Once I get better I think it will be the most versatile kite I have. The Addiction is one tough kite. It has had the most abuse by far. Broke a LE c clip loose yesterday and that is the only repair the kite has needed. If you can even call that a repair. It's been said here that it is easier to learn soft handed to hard handed then the other way around. The Addiction demands soft hands. The Hydra is going to take some serious skills and I believe learning the Addictions radical ways will help keep me from trashing it. Going to move the kids Addiction to the upper setting. For now they have a 1.4 foil, Vision and their Addiction needs to be calmer. Me I'm staying stock. It's the most exciting kite I have. It makes laugh so hard at times tears flow. Love my Addiction [insert pun here] but then I'm a rookie  Smiley. YMMV
