One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

any rods will work..helen specifically makes all of her kites for wood ramin dowels (then says you can put in carbon if you want)....so anything you put in there will be higher end than what she had planned for it....
if you want to fly it and not purchase rods then put the rev rods in it....it will get the kite flying...

Yeah, the Rev rods would work, but very expensive and a much higher spec then needed. I'm tempted to offer you a trade for some P4X Skyshark or 6mm glass/carbon tubes which would still be well above spec, but then I don't have a use for those Advatage rods either, just a lust. So hey if you've got them and that's what you want to do with them go for it.
