One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Now that I'm more into flying stunt kites, I thought it would be fun to fly with others. Is anyone here on GWTW near Montreal by any chance? I've heard that Varennes is where all the action is going on, although its a bit of a drive from Montreal.

I was just in Montreal, but I didn't bring any kites. Whereabouts do you fly?

I usually bike to a double baseball field in Montreal East (near Rosemont/St-Michel). But I also go to Varennes, but not quite as often as I would like. Apparently there is a nice spot to fly near the "Jardin Botanique" towards the south part. I have never tried, but on google map it looks like a nice big place.

Do you come to Montreal often?

No, it was my first time. However, a couple of my good friends live there, so I can see myself going more often.
