One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Anyone around Stockton, Ca area like to fly?  Just got back into the hobby a few months ago and have a couple decent places here to fly.  A small field at the waterfront and the soccer park at the airport.

C'mon up to Chico.
It's not that far.  Back in the day when I was working for the Giraffe I drove down there all the time.

It sounds fine by me. The wind has been pretty good around here lately, although I haven't had much time to fly.
Ozonejim isn't too terribly far from here as well.

Great to have a few willing to meet up, now if the wind gods will keep being kind to us we'll get something set up.  I'm wondering what happened to the 8mph winds the reports said was supposed to be happening here at 3pm today lol. I think weather.com needs better equipment.  Can I assume a weekend would be best for everyone?

Sounds good to me Geo.  Where exactly is this park in ripon?  PM me with the details and I'll haul my kites and beginner behind out there Tongue.  Oh and I'll make sure ask the winds gods to be kind to us lol.

99 South to Jack Tone exit. Turn left over the highway, turn right on River Rd. If you show up at noon, look to your left...if there is any wind at all the Air Form will point the way Wink
Looking forward to getting together with some new friends.
