One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

What standard kite that you have flown or own that felt the lightest on your lines??

For the kites I own: Eyesore Eyesight. It feels really light on the lines.

Mohawk, most Bensons in lighter winds.

Jumping Jack Flash

I found it somewhat unnerving to fly as I could barely feel it - or maybe I was just too used to STXs with Ron's bridle at the time.

NOS (Nitros Oxide) - very light feel for both the UL and Standard.  Small inputs as well - just a flick is often all you need.

Lam's new Transformer - lighter pull than his other kites even in medium to high wind, also smaller inputs.

The Vendetta's Denny had, although smaller then a full size kite they still fell into that realm IMO and were disconcertingly light on the lines for my taste, some people prefer that though.

The Christian Derefat Vortex feels pretty light on the lines, and that allows it to fly comfortably in stronger winds than most standards

I would say also add experience level. A heavier pulling kite has become less scary to me as I have become more experienced.  I also think personal preference has something to do with it.  There are some kites that I feel more comfortable flying and tricking at a given wind speed but they probably pull near the same.

Of the kites I fly most often, I would rank them for pull as follows from lightest to heaviest and using 10mph wind speed and std models of each.

Sano SS
Sea Devil
Vendetta
Nirvana
Mantis
Mamba

This makes no adjustments for size of kite and bridle settings. On the Sano, SD, and Mamba I rarely/never make bridle adjustments.  On the V, N, and Mantis I do make some bridle adjustments to set the kite heavy or light depending what I want to do and the mood I am in that day.

Thanks everyone!  I was really surprised at some of the kites on the list. Some I didn't even recognize the name........shows I'm still a noobie.
