One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Gotta love the Swap Meet section. What was once Devin's Muse, is now my first step into boutique kites. From $7 Strand, to $50 HQ Bolero, plus 3 more $7 Strands, to this beautiful BMK Muse. Wow! What a step up. Can not wait to fly this thing.

Thanks to all here that are helping feed my new addiction.

Michael,

Great to see a new flyer.  You've got one sweet smooth flying kite there - enjoy it!

I'm glad you bought it when you did - I was close to it myself and I've already got one coming in a few more weeks.

Bet you're going to love it, you'll notice the difference over your previous kites as soon as it hits the air. Plus you got an extra bonus, besides all the built in tricks from Ken, yours has recieved Training by Devin  Wink

I have been working out 5 days a week solid for exactly a year last month. I turn 44 in a couple months so I decided it was time to get in better health.

I should ask you how often do you go flying, becuase I have drooled over your kite pictures for a couple months now.

My first "expensive kite" was a BMK Mantis, it is still one of my favorites.  I'm sure you will see high end kites are worth the cost.

Michael,

Great kite.  I have a BMK....a Muse that is White and Purple.   I went to a workshop that Ken did at Fort Worden in 2007 and made one.  I loved it so much I had Ken make a UL version for me.

I hope you love you kite as much as I love mine.

Many happy hours flying it.

Michael,

Congratulations on your introduction to Blue Moon’s. There is a support group for this so called “Blue Moon addiction” It is located on Ken’s site, but unfortunately most of those poor souls there are hopelessly destined to a life of wanting another fix. I on the other hand have been relatively unaffected by it, I have taken control of my life and can now move on. I only have eight of them after all and feel I have kicked the habit. What is that? Black Mamba you say! Ahhhhhh, sorry Michael got to go.
