One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

My whole family voted!

Great job again, Connor!!

Unfortunately, NBC must be filtering the call-in vote by area code. Calling from my cell here in Long Beach, I got a recording that said the voting by phone was closed. It would have been at home, but it was only about 10 minutes after the show was over here.

Between two landlines, two cell phones and my computer I got fifty votes in.

The open times for calling in was determined by the area code of the phone you were calling from, not the area code you were physically in.  I believe a lot of callers got messed up by this.

Yes, Connor did and AWESOME job.

I loved the choice of song, the white kites and outift he wore.

Now for the flying....nice touch with the mylar tail on the first rev. (Scotty Weider trademark).

Then to fly the two quads as a train was AWESOME. The entrance was so well timed with the music. I held my breathe the entire time watching, because I know how difficult it is to keep both of those kites in the air.

And then to get a STANDING OVATION from the audience was so great

I hope everyone voted for Connor. We did.

Connor you stepped it up in a BIG way with that performance. Let's hope America at home votes for you.

No matter what happens, you did yourself and the kite flying world PROUD !!

Great job Connor.  I have no idea how you can fly so well in such a small place and in front of all those people.   Huh

Thanks,
John

Hey John,

Connor got eliminated last Wednesday so he won't be on the show anymore.

It was a great ride though, very cool to see Connor get that far.

See ya,
Bill

Oh shoot.  Cry

Making it as far as he did is amazing. Great job.

Anyone know if the exposure helped Revolution sell more kites? I hope Connor now has lifetime supply of free gear.

Thanks Bill,
