Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hmm...that's true....the DS does go low. It's just that the UL is SOoooo nicely balanced (it's Mark Clements favourite). The vented does sound like the logical choice though. I guess it all depends on how often you feel that there is too much wind for the kites you have. You'll end with all three eventually anyway  Wink.

You might like the UL more - the balance is exquisite  Wink. If you like the standard, and have the money, buy the vented without hesitation.

I ordered a vent.  Cool

Looks good (will certainly look very much better when free of Mark’s 'remarkable' interior design choices  Lips sealed)

Let us know your thoughts in terms of performance (of course it will be all SUL wind for you now for ages).

Just to set the record straight on the awful backdrop, it was Wendy wot dunnit, before I moved in.  Cheesy

My choice would be white walls for maximum light reflection!
If I ever get the chance to decorate it

Well starting from that base colour, figure on about 5 coats at least, or you'll end up with some pseudo-rag-rolled pink mess... I'd set aside a fortnight if I were you!!! It's probably cheaper just to line the lot with ripstop!!!

Some Birch panels and a few Walnut trim pieces and you can have that room looking proper in a weekend.  Grin
BTW, I think Richard Debray has a wall that same color.
