Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

This is just a simple story of myself flying a kite in high wind with some well used flying lines(a set of new 55Kg will be fine), flying line snapped and doing a backward human yoyo.  Nothing more.  Cheesy Cheesy

There is no need to go ballistic on it.

I am not a big fan of high winds ... some management type at Prism said once on their forum ... "If the winds goes over 12 mph or so I rather be inside playing checkers" ... in my mind this has some truth to it and has always stuck with me ... anyway ... Lam's kite do have a large wind window but at this wind speed 20+ I am on the Mid-Vent with 150 # test lines ... the STD could work ... but why move your feet MORE than two or three paces back and forth if not required? I only fly the mid-vent if its an empty beach, the sky's are blue and its not winter time here in NJ. I did fly his Tattoo (2PT w/ 3PT lower spreader) once in 10-12 mph for about 10 minutes as the winds increased dramatically this day... anyway virtually no wing fluttering observed ... but switched to a SD-Light for obvious reasons. Impressive to say the least on his kite building skills.

Kite inventory of Dual Line Kites:Benson - Inner Space; L'Atelier xt.z.; Fearless-Tatto (SSUL), Light; GPS -SUL, Light, Vent Light/4 Panel Vent-design, Full Vent 5PT design ; Mind Trick SUL Custom 2PT Design, Triple S Mind Trick construction (SSSUL) - NEAR ZERO WIND INDOOR TYPE.
