Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Too cool... I had no idea there was an active power kiting crew on Long Island, other than all the kite surfers. I thought this video was going to be about the memorial fly that they have in Long Beach.
I also didn't know Floyd Benit Field was open to the public, thought it was just closed down. Looks like you guys had a blast, other than the wind looking a little light...

Thank you Rob, we actually gathered from all over including Ma, MD, NJ, and upstate NY. Winds were light indeed  but grew for Sunday, unfortunately it was a one day event for myself. Check out the Wildwood Buggy Bash that is happening at the end of October. http://www.powerkiteforum.com/viewthread.php?tid=14133
