Go to Powell's Books in Portland. It is a fantastic book store (new and used) as big as a city block! If you even remotely like books, this is a must!

The Lincoln City Fall Festival is the 9th and 10th of October. About 2- 21/2 hours from Portland. While in Portland check out the St Honore (sp?) bakery on NW Thurmond. You would think you are sitting in Paris. Yum!

Lots to see and do here. Hopefully the weather will hold. The coast is a "must see". Multnomah Falls is always impressive. The zoo and Rose Garden. If you're a wine drinker there are plenty of vineyards with tastings. Saturday market is cool on Sat and Sun. Drop an email when you're here. Al

Welcome and Congratulations!!
Portland is a great city! Check out the waterfront and Saturday Market!
If you have a car and some time, I have several suggestions.
Multnomah Falls Mt. St. Helens Wine Country Tour Aviation Museum in McMinneville (home of the Spruce Goose) World Kite Museum in Long Beach North Coast drive from Cannon Beach to Tillamook Whale Watching in Depoe Bay Kite Fest in LC - party at our place Sunday night!
Of course, if you are on a honeymoon, you may not have time for any of this....
David
