One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

You can try a yoyo line (like on a Fury) to see if your first guess is in about the right place before making holes in the kite

Ian, I'm not familiar with the fury, do you have a picture (or a link to one?). 

I should add that the kite in question (that previously did not have yoyo stoppers) had holes in the leading edge where they belong... so my quest is currently on hold.  That being said, I do see the need for this knowledge if future builds so will keep exploring ideas.

5th pic along the top row of pictures, theres a Fury .85 in a fade and you can see the yoyo line.

Its just a line between the leaders such that when the kite is rolled up it lays behind the kite and holds the lines at appr. 2/5 down from the nose. by varying the length of this line you can adjust how far up and down the LE the lines will sit. It works well but obviously not for multiple wraps however it is very good for a bit of trial and error before you start making holes.
