One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

i'm playing it on the ps3. fun so far.

one thing though, sure they have a minimap during gameplay but where's a track map i can look at while i'm in the pit garage? i've not found one. seems a strange oversight.

i'm really happy there's practice and qualifying before the race though. also glad the races are decent minimum lengths. one of my biggest ongoing gripes with racing games is being forced to go from the back of the grid to the front in 3 laps, with no free run on the track before a race and no chance to better your starting position. thankfully the paradigm is different here.

it's also a blessing the ai doesn't drive like it's a crash up derby. they don't brake check in the middle of corners and it's possible to pass them cleanly.

anyway, fun so far.

adjusting the cars help. I havent looked for a full length map but they shouldnt be hard to find on the web. About half way thru a season, its been alot more fun after working the car.
I have run a few time trials, obviously there is some bug for the times that are set from the web. Monaco?!? it maybe historic but wow is it tough.
