One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I didn't know that Mike.  I run GIMP on my personal systems (XP) and on a W7 system at work.  All I do is basic stuff, but I've never run into any bugs.  Can't say I'm surprised that there are problems though.  Still, the price is right!

Thanks, good to hear you're not having problems on Win7, I'll have to check back in and see what the latest word is, been a couple months since I had checked. My Win7 PC is just an upper end netbook not purchased or intended for graphics use but I'm always fiddling with pictures or drawing plans so I'd like something on it to keep me occupied when I'm bored. Free is the right price for that computer.

I'm running the PortableApps version of GIMP 2.6.11 under Windows 7 64-bit. Whenever I run it I will always get an incompatibility message about some .DLLs. I bravely forge ahead regardless and, lo!, it works fine. There are some issues like windows disappearing or menus displaying a little strangely but I've had no problems with crashing or lost "work".

Excellent value for money Wink Give it a try and if you don't like it, delete it and no harm done.
