One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Well, I returned from Florida on Friday, installed a trailer hitch on the wife's Highlander, I noticed the box the hitch came in was the exact size to fit a 35" flat screen Sony. one item packed.  On Saturday Kris came down the stairs and asked why I put a rectangle of painters tape on the floor.. (the inside dimensions of the trailer), all items were staged in that space over the weekend, then on Monday I packed the trailer... and she kept bringing boxes that were not from the rectangle.  Tuesday I started out from Tucson with a over loaded trailer and a SUV that barely had room for me. I drove 1/2 the 1300 miles each day...12.4 miles per gallon,(ouch on the credit card) that's half of the norm...  I have arrived in Brookings this evening safely.. Tomorrow we sign the papers and get the keys.. Oh yea I did manage to get one kite bag in the car, I think it the same I took to WSIKF so I should have some Rev's and some Quantum's.. I guess I will find out on Saturday when I meet up with some Rouge Valley Wind Chasers... Some people are coming right?? I hope to see you there

Mike
After WSIKF, we go to Crescent City over Labor Day weekend for the Windchasers Fun Fly.  We go for a week.  Flying with the Windchasers is lots of fun, and we really enjoy Fish and Chips at the Chart Room.  It's a short walk from the beach, and has, what we consider, about the best Fish and Chips on the West Coast.  You might want to give it a try.
