Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I'll be going out to NABX tomorrow for a few hours, take some pictures, say hi to friends. It's a big gathering. They even had the land speed record set at it last week. It will be good to see Dave Sabilino, Ben, Mr. Hadzicki, Kent and several others out there.

They'll be dirty and smiling and have spent the days traveling over 30 mph in their buggies and land sailers. I've been offered to learn the sport, but never had the desire to get into something I could seriously hurt myself in (cars are an exception).

Here's some other people's albums:

You should hook a ride with someone in a tandem buggy set up.  That way you can ride along but don't need to worry about controlling the kites or steering the buggy.

Pick up a kite if you have the chance.  You'll fly it no problem given your background.  If my 6 year old can fly his foil and do some basic boarding, you can enjoy a buggy ride.

If you see Paul Lawrence tell him I said hello (he's riding a Peter Lynn buggy and flying JOJOs - oh wait, that's a bit generic  Wink )
