Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Tom at Berkeley actually had 1 dual line set of Shanti Skybond, 100# x 85'.
I was just flying my dirty warp speed right before that with cringy sounds upon 6 twists.

It's pretty hard to compare at first because they are new lines, and I would need a new set of 90# warp speed to compare. But, in the beginning of my 30 min run with them, I had completely forgotten that I even had any twists on the line. It wasn't a ton of twists either, but for the twists there was, it sure didnt feel like it. I had a bit more feedback upon the lines, not a huge difference, but to me, little things matter, definitely felt a bit more responsive as well. But like I said, they are new lines so only time will really tell.

I was also told that a quad liner, who also bought a set a while back, he loves them but his main lines supposedly creeped 1 inch. Not sure if there was really anything wrong with the lines or if there really was a creep. He switched them with his brake lines afterwards, but will be giving it a bit more time before evaluating it. But so far, so good during the past few sessions.

The gophers have been busy during the rainy days at Berkeley marina, soil mound everywhere. And the dirty sands of San Francisco Ocean Beach along with a wet marina green from the fog will definitely help test these lines against external wear. Oh, the duck poop at the shoreline would help too.
