Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Truly a sweet photo.   Smiley

Since I'm dreaming anyway, if you get the chance to do that again, please have a swimmer in the water for scale.  Huh

I think shipping costs should be too much. Pack size is 2 metres!!!
The price for the 3XL is 759 (plus shipping) but there are only candy colours left because Carrington won't be produced any more.

How different would the construction of one of these monsters be from a 'standard' duallie?  Could you just scale up the plans for an existing kite (and beef up the framing, of course) and have a decent flier, or would it require so much tweaking that it'd basically be a whole new kite?

As for importing...  I wonder if you'd be able to swing a deal to have one shipped without the framing?  Pack the sail/bridle/fittings in a small box to save a ton on shipping, then source the framing from someone more local.

I don't think that Michael Ryll is shipping a sail without framing. He builds perfect kites but only complete ones so that he can give you the guarantee that it really is perfect. Maybe you send him an email ( drachen@ryll.de ) to clear it out with himself.
