Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I could use lots of help with names of equipment and people.

Winds were spotty on Saturday. So lots more photos of people this year.  Smiley

I fully appreciate the ability of trees to attract kites. They have special powers that way.

John can confirm, but I am pretty sure those are Susan Skinner mini kites, and yes they do fly.

Thanks for the Pic's John

P

That's a Power Blast 4~8, Revolution says that is a 4 meter sail with the pull of a typical 8 meter foil. I've never flown either so I can't personally vouch for that claim but I have seen fliers having to lean pretty hard into them in pretty light winds, they also claim the kite can fly down to 0 mph and provide usefull traction power in a 2 mph breeze.
