One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Allen, my deepest sympathies go out to you for your loss.

But, as the wind, true love never really ends and it sounds as though you and Amy were fortunate to have had that experience and blessing. Best wishes to your entire family.

You are right Allen she does have gorgeous hair and a smile that lights up the whole picture..  I am so happy that you two found each other and were able to share such good years together..  so many people never find what you had..   You really aren't back where you started tho..  you are so much more because of what the two of you shared..  you have grown in ways you will find yourself discovering as the years go by..  all because of what she brought to your life..  it's all those little things that add up tp that great love that will live on forever.

I am sure thats Amy would wish for you and the girls to have peace with her passing, she is in the hands of another great love now.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Many smiles to you..

How beautiful, Allen.
Remember the love, and keep hold of it.  It's still there.

You were blessed with 10 years in life and will be blessed with many more to come in spirit. Thank you for sharing the beautiful story of your meeting; it brought me smiles and a sense of joy and love you two shared.

I agree with Debbie that you are not back to where you started. Life with Amy has given you much to carry on with life. You've grown in many ways that may not even be realized now.

My sympathies are added to the many others. May you and your family have strength, hope, and love during this time of grief and transition.

I too have married the love of my life... If I should leave this world first, I hope I will be remembered with such obvious love, that the story would move hearts as mine has been moved by your love for your wife. My husband told me what this thread was about before I read it, because he knew my heart would break and he wanted me to be prepared for that. Being loved, and having the chance to love in the way that you did is the greatest gift any of us could ever ask for. All the wealth and treasure in the world can not compare.

I don't think we've had a chance to get to know each other yet... I'm new of course... but I share in the sadness of your loss and I am full of gratitude that you shared this with us. Giving us the chance to support you in this time. May you feel in these many messages, the love and support of the community and may it bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Yours most sincerely,

Victrinia
