One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Sweet as always. But I gotta say sometimes I hate your video's when you take a kite I have, and swear that it can't do that, and you show that it can AND make it look easy  Shocked   Undecided   Roll Eyes

Nice flying Devin!  How is the Ocius SUL framed up?  Mostly 2pts?

Cheers,
Steve

Yessir. 2pts all around, I think, don't hold me to that.

There could be another frame option though, a new tube is on the horizon. Keep your eyes pealed.  Smiley

Also the SUL has zero weight in it, that's just a stock kite, stock bridle, stock frame.

I like the look of the Cyniques Devin. I think I saw a 2 pop yoyo in the Ocius SUL. Does it have enough mass to do 1 pop yoyos instead?

Great videos Devin, especially on the Nik Nak!  I think it might be the oldest stunt kite still in production.  If not, very close.  I bought one in 1996 or '97.

Can you recall how you had the bridle set on it?

thanks,
glen

Hey Glen,
I always fly the niknak with the bridle set to the indoor setting. Regardless of winds, etc.

Sorry I forgot to respond to your post, Darryll. It doesn't do 1 pops but 2 pops are pretty easy to pull off. No problems.

Tie a string on a cement brick add a carbon rod and Devin can fly it.  The kid can fly.  Devin when do you get home for break so we can fly...?  I wish I had known about this day... looks like Plymouth.  Also, I am hoping that is the new Ocious SUL .  I have to have one...  I really like my Pro Dancer but it's limited as you know. I luv'd the late night flying at the beach, but wind was always problem.  I flew there with 0.5 mph.. with the Pro DancerSul.  What is the weight going to be ?? Do U know ??

If you haven't gotten added an Ocious to your flight bag.  Make it #1 on your New Year's list.... Changed my whole status as a novice...  Grin

Should be a good time Smiley
