Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

LOL ... always wanted a Cork Oak in my yard, they are beautiful trees, a lot of them have been cut down around here lately that were once planted along the streets. We do still have the original grove that John Bidwell planted as an experimental agricultural introduction into California, the industry never took hold I guess, too bad now that the wine industry has grown so large here. The trees seem to do good here that was well over 100 years ago Bidwell brought them into the country. They are an evergreen oak that when properly pruned as an ornamental tree are a nice medium size with a large canopy just overhead.
