One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Does anyone have a Widowmaker standard with a turbo bridle?  Mine has a 3 point, not sure if they all came this way

I love this kite (read that to mean L-O-V-E this kite) ... except... it sits a bit nose forward and holds a bit too much wind when you snap stall, so it is eager to get flying again.

If there is a version that came with a turbo bridle I'd be interested in the dimensions, rather than re-invent what's already been done  Smiley

The earlier models came with a 3 point bridle. The later models came with a turbo bridle. I've flown both and prefer the turbo.
I'm pretty sure Jon sells them.  Wink

Kaos ,  The smartest  thing to do is call 734-454-3760.  Thats "Kites and fun things" ..call Jon who made it.  He'll help you.  He hand ties all bridles for WW,  use him for the answers.  He understands every adjustment on it and what effect it will have on flying.  You'll be shocked at what he says I sure was just listening to him and watching the results.  Most of the tweeking of a new kite is setting the bridle... Huh

Not to put words into John's mouth, but he will probably give you a bridle for the cost of shipping.  He did for me on mine and I switched it from the 3 point to the turbo, prefer the turbo lots more! Smiley

Yeah, but I'd have to wait two weeks to get it here to Australia  Cheesy

Trouble is, he's usually asleep when I have the time to call him  Grin

Thanks to Norm, I have already changed to a turbo - had it tied up in about 30 minutes.  Love it!

Thanks to everyone for the replies - Happy New Year.
