Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I have an old Vector stashed away in my kitebag.  Unfortunately, it's got a bunch of sticks poking out of the nose webbing.  It was my first 'good' stunter after learning on a couple 'Go Fly a Kite' kites in the late '90's.  Someday I'll fix it up.

Maybe not as old as some of the ones posted here, but my other two standy-by kites that are probably around 10-years old:

Fanatic
HQ Phoenix

I remember buying the Phoenix and Vector from Sue at High Flyers Kite Co. in Newport, RI - probably four years apart, but still.  I miss that place.

We were flying 2 Mini Lotus this weekend and commenting that we'd never seen a full size one.

And here it is

How's it fly?

Here's one of the Minis:

They are about 40" wingspan

In reply to the flight question. This was my first NTK and it impressed the heck out of me. I picked it up at the EEA Wings on Strings Kite Festival several years ago for something new to fly and have bought a number of NTKs because of it. It is fairly precise has a good amount of pull and makes enough noise to be interesting. I can't say how "tricky" it is, I'm more of an old school flyer, you know, put on the headphones, crank up the tunes, disapear into my own little world. Hey, they know me there, and I enjoy my visits.

I still like the old kites.  UNfortunately when college took priority I sold all my old prisms cause I just didn't have time for a life outside of classes and now I regret it.  I'm starting to get some back though and they are seeing a lot of air time.  HEre's a link to my collection so far.
