One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Anybody an expert on clouds?

Hyperlinked photos

I've never seen clouds like these. Winds were in the 8-12 mph range and very bumpy at ground level. I wonder what the wind was like in those white pancakes...

They are Lenticular clouds, also known as Standing Waves. You see them sometimes on top of mountains. They are indicators of high winds aloft that may surface later in the day.

What Rx said.  Also really bad to go thru in an airplane.  Brings new meaning to  "roller coaster ride."
