Where to fly in San Diego

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I've been on the local website and see that the locals fly in Mission Bay.  Where specificly do you all fly there.  I'm in town on business and may be there pretty ealy on Saturday and Sunday and would hate to be in the wrong place 

I also noticed ther is some rev training seminars on 4/11.  That still happening?  I have some cousins I will be bringing by.

Fly just off I5, south of the Hilton hotel.  Going south on I5, get off at Sea World Drive.  Keep turning right which will double you back to the field.  There are fliers there most evenings as well as Saturdays.

Tomorrow, Saturday, should be the meeting of the San Diego Kite Club at that field.  Mid-morning until the wind dies.

also check out torreypines glider port if you want to see a whole bunch of people riding the wind currents from the cliffs.  it's close to black's beach, which is one of the nudest beaches in california.
