One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Hi All,

Can anyone help me out with online kite stores that sell spares. Especially for flying wings kites? Silverfox 2.3 to be exact.

Thanks

Why not contact the store you bought the kite from?

Failing that ... email me with what you need.

Shipping parts and rods via USPS First Class Mail is relatively cheap.

if Steve were to be abducted by aliens or for some other rare occurrence is unable to meet your needs, the newest forum sponsor a wind of change has a ton of parts. ok so being carbon and plastic a ton might be an exaggeration, but several hundreds of pounds worth anyway.

it's nice a wind of change is now an official partner here as i've bitten my lip a fair number of times, being a local and knowing they have something people are struggling to find.
though in this case i'm sure steve can get you sorted.

Cheers for the replies. Briskites here in Australia sell the parts i'm after but i'm just waiting to see if they're open for trade with the flooding that's going on in Queensland at the moment.

Although both myself and Steve have replacement parts for Flying Wings kites, the shipping to Australia can be a deal breaker.  Unless you are ordering multiple parts, the shipping costs to send a parts to Australia from the U.S. would be huge - probably 3 or even 4 times the price of the parts.

If you do decide to order from the U.S., your best bet is to order multiple rods as 10 rods would cost the same as 1 to ship.

Because of the shipping costs and duty, it may be best for you to order your replacements from Briskites - unless of course they don't have it in stock.
