One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

No rain at the moment. Wind is 10 to 15 out of the SE. Wind should calm down this afternoon. Might even get in some UL flying before the day's out.  Roll Eyes

Looks ugly right now, 9:30 AM hope this doesn't hold too long. We have to make a Sacramento Airport run later too, shortening our window even further.

Mike, I was at the park flying @ 9:30. The wind was coming from somewhere between the south and the east at somewhere between 0 and 15 mph.  The Bulldog would fly for a while then fall out of the air like it had been shot. And close to the ground the swirl effect was in full swing. Not the best conditions, but it wasn't cold or wet.
Good to see you again John. Hopefully we'll have better conditions next time you come down.

Yeah the rains held off, even got sort of muggy. Sheena's flight out was earlier then I thought, had to be out of town by 2:00 and still had to stop by Grandma's to say bye too, didn't leave much window to get by today.

Missed it  Sad - but did buy a new kite  Grin - but not a real kite  Undecided - but only $11   Wink - and it's cool  Cool

Denny, it was good to see ya also, thous winds were Crazy, sorry I wasn't a little more Social, just had the bug to fly, to bad the winds didn't allow me to work on my tricks. See ya next month, maybe the winds will allow the wife to fly her SLKs.

Steve, the kite you were flying was pretty neat my wife really like the color scheme. Thanks on the tip on setup of the Delta for the higher winds, to-bad the winds were so turbulent.
