Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Enjoying the irony.  Cry

Like a preschooler told his mother a couple of days ago, "I don't like patience."

Hey Jim, Hope you feel better soon. Don't worry, though. The Zephyr will fly in less wind too. Smiley

Thanks. I can see branches gently swaying outside. I"ll admit, I considered trying to fly the kit anyway, but a little bit of good sense crept in.  Undecided  I didn't even let my wife know I considered going! Wink

It's 42 degrees, sunny, and the dead leaves still hanging from a pecan tree are waving at me. Taunting. I guess I'll watch the dvd some more.

If it weren't for seeing double, I'd already be there! I could put a patch over one eye, but would have no depth perception. I'd hate to break the kite on day one (but I guess it's been done before.) As soon as the vision clears up, I'm there.

I flew with my leg in a cast while sitting in a chair. It wasn't a lot of fun. Nice day though.
