One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.

Does anybody know what the placement is for yoyo stoppers on a Blue Moon Mamba std. and on a Cavaliers Du Ciel STX1.9 (Furio)? (in cm from the nose down)

Mamba s/b 56.7cm down from the top, outside corner of the nose

from the tip of the nose when folded up stx 1.9 52.5cm is the center of the yoyo stopper

does half a centimeter placement actually make the total difference???

Probably not for most people - there are, for sure, many other variables - most of them to do with the flyer!  Smiley

The STX 1.9 is so old I seriously doubt it's fangled at all.

Both yes and no. For most things there's a range of it'll work then there's that elusive sweet spot. If someone has already worked out a spot that works, at least give that a try.
