One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Cheesy  The photos are from John's photo web site.  In response to his losing the data about each photo.  I thought a few videos to cheer him up.  I have been through a large number they are amazing shots.  Look at the backgrounds of each photo.  The Moon kite has the moon in the back ground.  Nice photos to work with.  This is second one of two I just finished.  This had me dancing in the seat...  Made want to fly... in warm weather...

Thank You John for the beautiful shots...  He still hasn't seen the videos yet.   Cheesy

I am happy to read that I am still alive.  Cheesy

Thank you for the videos. The music and Ken Burns effect on the photos helps impart a bit of life into the stills.

I see you used KP8 for the more recent video. Good choice as we are coming up on KP9.

The KP photos always get more hits than all other photos for the year put together.

Aside from being shocked by seeing my ugly mug in the first video, they were very nice to see as a mini-movie.

Glad you all like the photos. Considering the amount of money I make doing this (zero), it has to be a labor of love.  Smiley

These photos are incredable I worked for hours yesterdy on them and as I watch them again.  I am so impressed on the quailty and content of each shot.  ( Photo I&II Macomb Community College 73) ( Camera Bag..Yashica electro 35, Minolta SRT 101 Cannon Ilan , 2 Nichon's...)  Now I use a Samsung digatal 12 meg.   I need to up grade to a video camera.  Been looking this week at a sony.. Any suggestions.

I know you have heard about the quailty of your shots before.  I need to say it again.  They were great to work with.  Some of my transitions from one flick to another, overlays the kites almost perfectly... I was able to add transitions to match two or three photos together.. Each shot of people flying kites as you looked at them.... You can see my transitions are nice becuase you centered each shot.  Damn nice work !!!
