Anybody an expert on clouds?

I've never seen clouds like these. Winds were in the 8-12 mph range and very bumpy at ground level. I wonder what the wind was like in those white pancakes...

They are Lenticular clouds, also known as Standing Waves. You see them sometimes on top of mountains. They are indicators of high winds aloft that may surface later in the day.
