One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I bought this '95 Sandpiper UL from Tim in England at the beginning of December, but we thought it was lost in shipping. Yesterday two things happened, the PayPal refund went through, and when I got home I found a tube from England leaning on my back door.

The kite is gorgeous, and a very light UL. 3P frame all around, light poly sail, even a plain spectra bridle. Picture doesn't do the colors justice. I don't know if I've seen some of these polys before.

Thanks Tim!

That is an excellent kite, although I've only flown the standard. Nice find Allen.

Wow, I miss those hangars in the background. And the guys too.  Smiley

Nice kite  Cool

I've got a full set and the UL really is the sweetest of them all; not at all like a modern pitchy kite but for fying the 'old' competition figures they work so well.

A Sandpiper UL on a summer evening is pure Aoxomoxoa
