Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

Well..i did it...finally broke down and bought one of Tim and Ruth (of Windfire designs) Morpho Grande deltas....sold my soul to do it though....

14' framed in p100s....
flys indoors and outdoors.....
folds down to the size of a -well -p100 -so small.....
The details that these guys put into their kites is AMAZING!!!! tim hand forms all of the fittings....bent stainless steel wire....

The kite is designed to be flown flat or with a bit of bowing in the nose for gliding flight.....

Another great kite added to the xUL stable!
Cannot wait to get it outside! or into the gym for that matter......

holy smokes that's huge!

though i have yet to see any in person, from what's available on the internet, their work is always reaaaallly impressive.

the real question though, is how are you going to fly it with one arm and one leg?

actually i just sold off 17 of my digits.....who needs toes anyhow Tongue

I had one of their Photon Fighters for a while..loved it....passed it along to a friend...then i found another Photon that happens to be one the first 10 - it has a different attachment system to hold the rod to the sail and a different bridling situation too......
I also have one of the few Mini Serendipities that Ruth designed and they made.....
I have always admired their work.....how can you not?Huh?

i bopped out of work an hour early tonight to get the sunlight....
popped the morpho g together and took it for a test flight....
winds changing from 0-4mph....and this thing took off like a rocket....mostly it was around a 75-80 angle.....pulled pretty good for a 14' wide kite! Smiley

flight was on about 15' of 90# spectra....and there are trees and houses behind me....cannot wait to get to a clean wind area with it!

There were 2 others that were available but as i understand it now they are all sold...

The light wind capability of this kite is amazing despite its heft, a full 14 foot wingspan and 21 feet of leading edge  Wink
