Welcome to the GWTW Forum.

One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

a good number of the factories that make kites also offer their designs up.

sucks

also depends on whose design it is....could be that Gomberg is purchasing kites that the factory designed not him (I am not aware if this is the case or not. just a thought)

Perhaps the most important word in the original post was virtual.

I'm not sure I understand the nature of this "virtual game". Are you getting an actual kite?? If so, who are you getting it from?

All of our products are made exclusively for us. We don't buy kites from various sources and then put our label on them. Similarly, our factories do not sell our products to other distributors.

The designs used on our Kabuki Series roks are traditional Japanese designs and may have been used on other kites. Generally this has been in printed or painted applications on paper. I'm not aware of anyone using applique or fabric for "our" images.

We make this kite in  a 7 foot and a four foot size. See http://www.gombergkites.com/rok.html for more information.

If you find out anything else, please let me know.

Thanks!

David

PS -- interesting that the image is reversed.

He's playing Cityville on Facebook. What he's getting is a picture of a kite.

Sue them for every penny they have.

I'm playing YoVille. I thought it was interesting that the colors were exactly the same but mirrored. By the way I bought 2 of them and hung them in my virtual home.
