Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The event just started Tuesday, but I could only make it out on Wednesday.

Great pics as usual.  Glad you were able to snap a few of the Calvin & Hobbes foil by KJ.

Hope you don't mind that I x-posted this announcement to the PowerKiteForum.  I expect there are some folks that couldn't make it to Ivanpah that would appreciate the pics.

Too bad you didn't catch a ride on one of the tandems. Would have been nice to see some POV buggy shots. Maybe next time?    Grin

My favorite NABX shot was taken in 2006 while riding TANDEM on a land sailer around 25 mph. It's of Gary Walsh. Down to the detail of having a train passing in the background, there is nothing I'd change in that photo.

If you go through previous year NABX shots, there are a few taken from either land sailer or rear seat of a tandem buggy. Overall, I feel safer with my feet, butt or stomach on the ground when out on the Lake Bed.

I'll attempt to live up more to your expectations next year.  Sad

Or you could book some time and go out with Corey and a few of his buggy friends. Then we would not have to wait a whole year!   Grin
