Nice!  Thanks.  Looks like the part when the back kites were being unruly, heh.  Need to figure out a way to fix that.

Ask kiteking - Mike M - to watch the vid and give an opinion.

I think on our 5 stack the upper link lines may have stretched when it became unruly. We tied a knot in each, thus progressively moving the effective bridle point up so that the upper kites would lead rather then follow. It seemed to help but I'm no expert on stacks.

I've seen lots of stacks do that.  Usually when you do turns too fast but on the old school delta stacks it happens a lot when the link lines get off and they wobble a lot.  The wobble can be enough that it makes the sail collapse since they have no stand offs and you loose lift on the trailing kites.

Hard to tell from the video,

Check to be sure all link lines are same length

Tie a overhand knot in the lower outside link lines (shorting about 1") on the last kite

this should raise it up some and help stabilize the stack

here's a Peter Powel 11 Stack

I don't think I've seen so many fliers in Ripon. Is there some interest in another Sunday fly? I plan to be there around noon. There's a lot of OPKs (other people's kites) to try.

I'll probably be there on sunday as usual anyway but the more the merrier Smiley  Winds look a bit flaky so if you come out bring the light wind stuff too.

If you've got field space for one more, I'll be there!

(I had planned to come this time but life got in the way)

Plenty of room Allen.  Heck the undeveloped expansion lot is 5 acres alone, along with the 10+ soccer fields.  Hey George any word on soccer games there this weekend?
