Welcome to the GWTW Forum.
Guests (non-registered users) can view the forum but are unable to post.  If you don't have anything to say then why would you bother to register?
One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

I've only been able to see anything other than short glimpses of the 'lights' since the early eighties when I was on the North Slope inside the artic circle.......very cool in time lapse.

thanks,

Whitman is a small private liberal arts college. From their website: "Whitman is the premier liberal arts college that combines academic excellence with an unpretentious, Northwest culture and an engaging community. Since becoming a college in 1882, Whitman College has a history of graduating ethical, unpretentious leaders. The tree-lined campus is home to an intellectually dynamic, diverse, active and supportive community. Students find a balance at Whitman between challenging academics and developing meaningful and enduring personal relationships through an involved campus community.

While statistics cannot convey completely the quality of the individuals who make up Whitman's Admitted Class of 2015 students, the information below may be helpful to students who are interested in joining the Whitman community.

Applications Received:   3208
Students Admitted:   1654"

Check out The Mountain, too. I thought it would be linked to The Aurora, but it wasn't

The best place to fly kites, if you can call it best, is the Community College's soccer and practice field. I usually fly in the middle of the grass, straight out from the baseball field's porta pots. Hope I have a chance to fly with your friend during the visit, my kite bag is open.

I tried to insert a Google map, but it didn't work.
