One of the most popular sections of the GWTW Forum has long been the Swap Meet.  A great place to sell old, seldom flown kites or to get great deals on used (gently flown) kites.  Only registered users can see the Swap Meet section, let alone wheel and deal.  1000's (literally) of kites have changed hands thanks to the Swap Meet.
There are several more benefits to being a registered user, but you'll have to join our little community to find out all the "secrets".

The 24th Don Jacobs Toyota FAMILY KITE FESTIVAL Is scheduled for Saturday, May 28th and Sunday 29th 2011, MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. NOW 2 days long! Sponsored by B93.3,102/1 WLUM and WMCS Radio, Gift of Wings, and the Kite Society of Wisconsin and Illinois. Featured performers include Chicago Fire, The Windjammers, Josh and Zach Gordon, Dan Newman, Paul Koepke, Mike Delfar and the kites of Yves LaForest and Jean Lemire. The Family Kite Festival will be held in Veterans Park from 10 am until 6 pm on Saturday and 10 am until 5 pm on Sunday. The festival is free with plenty of free parking. The Grand Launch of 500 kites will take place at noon. Rhonda Begos will sing the National Anthem. This event will be shown live on the Internet! Kites and food will be sold at the festival. Kick off your Spring with the FAMILY KITE FESTIVAL!
